The New Coach Poppy Collection!

I'm probably late but who cares! I just had to blog about these newbies I just recently picked up yesterday, shopping with the fiance at the mall!
So What did I end up getting from the Coach Store yesterday?? Scroll down and look!

new POPPY SIGNATURE SATEEN LUREX HIPPIE in Silver/Moonlight
Price: $198

I love how it can be worn on the shoulder or a cross body or carried by the handle, and gives you plenty of space to carry everything I need, since I usually only take my wallet, a compact mirror, keys, phone, gum and lip balm with me where ever I go. It has become my new favorite love!
Now time to put the other coach purses and swingpack away for the time being!

Another Item I got was:

new POPPY PETAL PRINT APPLIQUÉ WRISTLET

Price: $68

I love the poppy petal print; pretty appliqués—perfect for keys, cards, cash and phone when I'm on rush to go, without carrying too much!

Did any of you get anything from the new Poppy collection?

Review:
I saw this hanging at the endcap at Target and decided to give it a try because I really liked the colors. This package even came with a pencil liner in black. Although it wasn't anything new from other makeup producers, when I first tried it on my lids, they were really pigmented! You can even build up the color to make them even more pigmented. The brown was super pretty! Not only is it brown but it's a dark golden shade. The purple itself is also very pigmented. Wearing these two colors will really compliment your brown eyes. I really loved how these 2 looks really well on each other. However sadly the lighter color for highlighting your inner corners and brow bone isn't like the other two. It takes a lot to build up the color and notice it on my golden skin. The eyeliner wasn't too bad. It was vibrant but nothing I haven't seen before. Although I really like the packaging with the star. (I love Stars!)

Pros:
-Lightweight Powder, soft pearl finish
-Cheap
-You can find it at your local Target, Walmart, or Walgreens
-Lasts all day
-Buildable colors
-Different kits, with gorgeous colors.

Cons:
-The lighter color for this kit is super light!

Would I buy it again?
Maybe, I really like the brown and the purple combination but the lighter color didn't do anything to me. All the other kits had super nice color. I especially liked the look they made for Kate Hudson as their spokesperson for these kits. She's just gorgeous! Anyhow, these kits were okay. For $8 with the eyeliner, it is a good deal!

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner & K-Palette 1-Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black
Price: $12-$13, depending on sellers since this item is from Japan (best deal on Ebay!)

Description:
(Taken from Sasa.com)
Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner has a ultra fine yet flexible point tip, which allow greater precision with a easy to handle eyelining experience. The deep dazzling black can accentuate the glamorous eyes of yours, giving you a more defined look. This eyeliner is waterproof, sweat proof and with the quick dry formula, the eyeliner can stay on for hours without a smudge. Your look will be long wearing and gorgeous even without touch-up.

This is how the tip looks like:

Review:
I've heard a lot of raves about this eyeliner and so I decided to go ahead and order one for myself to see if it really lives up to it. Since I have oily lids and watery eyes, I really wanted to find a eyeliner that will stay put and last me throughout the day. Unfortunately it failed to stay put near my inner eye corners. So I have to reapply every few seconds..lol. And then I decided to just forget about it, cause my monolids would make it smudge. I really love that the tip is small and flexible so that you can create small delicate lines to a fuller line. The color is rich and pigmented. It doesn't flake), unless you force it to. The eyeliner does wash off easily whether it's cold or warm water, so it really isn't waterproof. The eyeliner does last the whole day. I've used it for 2 weeks and the tip has not dried up on me yet, hopefully I don't jinx it!

Pros:
-Cute Packaging (Black and pink with purple polka dots)
-Mid-Range Price (Affordable)
-Dries in 10-15 Seconds
-Rich & Pigmented
-Nice tip to create delicate and bold lines

Cons:
-Most of us can only buy it online
-Not waterproof
-Can Smudge

Would I buy it again?
Definitely! Even though it isn't waterproof I do find that it is one of the better eyeliner I've had, besides the Revlon Color Stay Eyeliner. I'm probably gonna stick to this for now.

The tip:

Review:
I decided to get this eyeliner and review it with the Dolly Wink eyeliner. It seemed to have also gotten good rave from other bloggers and I really wanted to test it out to see if it lives up to it. I love that the tip is super thin, 0.05mm (according to the maker). So perfect for small natural lining of the eye. However if you want a bolder and fuller line, it may take a couple drawings to achieve the look you want, since the tip is super thin. The color is super rich and pigmented. Just like the Dolly Wink eyeliner, it does seem to smudge near my inner eye corners. The eyeliner is waterproof but comes off with warm water or with eye makeup remover. The eyeliner did last me the whole day!

The Difference between the K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner and Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner:

Pros:
-Draws super thin lines
-Can make your eye Natural
-Contains camomile extracts and panthenol: GENTLE
-Rich & Pigmented
-Doesn't smudge
-Waterproof
-Comes in shade: SuperBlack

Cons:
-Most of us have to buy it online since it's from Japan
-$4-$5 more than Dolly Wink's
-Some may find the tip to be too small if you like drawing fuller lines
-Packaging says to not apply it to the inner eye lining since it's long-lasting.

Would I buy it again?
Yes I would. I find the tip to be nice and helpful when I want natural eyes!

Revlon PhotoReady Foundation Review

Disclaimer, I didn't receive this sample from any company and I'm reviewing of my own accord with my 100% honesty as always!

(Note: This review was published in 2010, from my old blog.)

Revlon PhotoReady Foundation Review
Price: $11-14      Size: 1 oz/30ml
What it says:
Revlon PhotoReady™ Makeup - for poreless, airbrushed skin in any light. Photochromatic pigments bend and reflect light to erase every flaw. Complete, yet undetectable coverage. Soft, luminous finish.
- Oil free
- Fragrance free
- SPF 20

How to Apply:
Using your finger tips or a Foundation Brush and blend the foundation onto skin starting at the center of your face, forehead, nose and chin blending outwards.

  With Flash:

 Review:
I have brought this from Walmart for $12 and I'm assuming it must of came out weeks or months ago. I know new items usually comes out to be like $20+ from Revlon. But yeap, this was a deal. But anyhow, I grabbed the 2nd lightest shade in 002 Vanilla. I have to say this is the best shade for me. Its not too dark or too light. And it adds a glow to my face. Firstly I applied the foundations with my fingers on my cheeks and work my way up. The pump is very easy to pump in any amount you want. I noticed it did have some sparkling glitter or sparkles in the foundation when I blended it onto my hand. Not a big problem because u can't notice it on your face when you blend the foundation. Also, this foundation dries very easily. You don't have to set it with powder or whatever it would take to set usual foundations. Foundation is medium to full coverage. Apply more foundation onto parts of your face that would need more coverage, such as the t-zone or around your nose, cheeks, eyes.
This is how it looks on my finger:

PROS:
SPF 20 - from damage.
Stays matte for 4-5 hours.
May need to powder it up after that.
Revlon also carries the powder and a translucent finisher, which I may buy in the future.
Great for a everyday look.
Gives full coverage, when first applied.
PURFect for photos.
No clogging up pores!!
Not to much $. You can possibly get it at any drugstore.
Walgreens usually have the sales every other week on makeup products.

CONS:
It has SPF 20, so when wearing it to take photos, you may look a bit whiter.
Not many selections in range of colors.
After 5+ hours, foundation starts to give way to skin, such as oil buildup around t-zone.
So always bring a powder to set the foundation if wearing more than 4 hours.
Does cake up after long period of wear.

Overall:
I would definitely buy again. It lasts a bit better than my MAC Studio Tech foundation. And it gives me the perfect shade. My MAC Studio Tech foundation has been a bit cakey on my lately. And I noticed some color discoloration among my skin and the foundation. Comparing it to MAC - $30+ and Revlon - $12, a  difference in $. So def. Revlon's PhotoReady is now my foundation for everyday wear, possibly until I find the perfect foundation for me. I'm not really a fan of Drugstore foundation, so yeah...Besides I don't have to ready set it with a powder till hours within. So I would def recommend it to you all.

Review:
Once I applied item to my skin, I had a cooling sensation. It's pretty mild and the gel is clear and dries very quickly. I was breaking out the most during my tough times. After a few days (3-4) my white heads went away and not only that, pimples have reduced in size. Blackheads on my nose seems to have gotten smaller and not so noticable. I usually moisturize after it dries so it doesn't dry out my skin. Now, I've been using this product for 2 weeks, this gel def. keeps pimples and whiteheads away. This product is definitely worth buying!! I will once again buy for longer usage. BTW, they ship DHL fast! for FREE!! They also give you a same sampler of other skincare products they carry. Great customer service as well.

CONS:
Oil Control: is significantly less but my face is still oily after hours of wear.
Not Cheap for 1oz of Gel. But $55 + Free shipping, is a +.
You can't find it anywhere in the US, and can only order it online.

Some reviewers have had sensitive reactions to some of the products.
I have sensitive skin but it worked out for me! =D

Review:
B.Liv is another line from Cellnique. You can visit their page HERE.

The 1 thing I noticed that was missing from the ingredients in the B.Liv Off with Those Heads was the peppermint oil. And without that, it makes this product  non-cooling when applied. It does work as well but not as well as Cellnique's. I find this just a cheaper version of Cellnique's Skin Action Sebum Gel. Also, a great alternative if you're unsure of buying it for your face. I mix up these two gels, so they last longer. Since I've already spent $100 for these 2 bottles. I hope they last me months! They also provide free shipping and give you a sample of other products they carry in each order.
